Lynette
Blackwell, customer service
Lynette has been with American Grass Fed Beef since 2001 and has a thorough knowledge of grassfed products. In this time, she has become very familiar with grassfed production, processing and marketing. Her main responsibilities
have been concerned with customer service where she knows many of our customers by first name. She handles the Buyer's Club, customer follow up, processing orders and shipping. Currently,
with additional staff onboard she is becoming more involved in updating the website and marketing efforts. Lynette lives with her husband (Jim) and two children (Jaysa and Bo) on a
nearby farm. |

Phyllis Hart, customer service
Phyllis joined our American Grass Fed Beef family in January 2007.
She is currently in the process of learning what grassfed is all about and learning our customers.
She has taken over the processing of orders and shipping responsibilities
as well as some of the bookkeeping duties.
She is very eager to learn the business and if she doesn't know the answer to your question, she is prompt to ask.
Phyllis lives with her husband (Tom) and their three children (Krystle, Jordan, and Thomas) in Doniphan. |

Richard Placke, shipping
Richard has been with American Grass Fed Beef since 2001 and serves in a multiple number of jobs. We are a family farm that ships our beef directly from the farm itself. Primarily, Rich is responsible for packing and shipping orders Monday through Wednesday. His innovative ideas have helped improve our packaging and shipping services. He is also responsible for inventory to help determine the production schedule. When not packing and shipping orders, Rich is vitally involved in beef production. Changing to his "cowboy" hat he handles fencing, cattle rotation, farm chores, general maintenance and planting. We call him the "cow whisperer" because his intuitive animal sense makes him the gentlest handler I have ever seen. He has cows in the herd that come up to him to be petted. If any animal needs nursing care he is the one. Rich lives in a house located on the farm. |

Cody Whisnant, ranch hand
Cody has been at the farm and a part of American Grass Fed Beef all his life. He is the 21 year old son of Mark and Dr. Patricia Whisnant. Groomed to assume increasing responsibility at the farm he is making the transition from ranch hand to ranch manager. He currently is attending a local community college, Black River Technical College and majoring in Agricultural Business. He attends school two days a week and spends the rest of his time with beef production. |

Justin Simonton, ranch hand
Justin is almost our 6th son. He attended high school and played football with Cody. He has worked part-time at the farm since high school. He also attends Black River College and helps with beef production. |
